Johnny Depp to replace Ledger in final role?
Johnny Reb Depp may be poised to substitute the tardily Heath Book of account in the Australian's final movie, according to reports.
English managing director Terrycloth Gilliam is determined to finish shooting Ledger's final plastic film, 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus', and is said to want Depp in the lead role.
Filming on the set of the phantasy picture show was reportedly abandoned following Ledger's expiry in New York on Tuesday.
However, Gilliam now wants to finish the shoot with Depp in the role.
A studio source told The Sunday: "On that point is a item in the plastic film when Heathland falls through a magic mirror. He could change into another character after that and that is where Johnny Reb would get in.
"It's a weird, fantasy, time-travel moving-picture show so Heath's lineament could easily change appearance. It would be a poignant moment.
"Johnny's non workings at the moment so everyone is praying he will do it."
Ledger was said to be less than deuce months by from completing filming on the picture show at the time of his destruction.
